Following the overwhelming success of the United Junior Table Tennis (UJTT) League, we are excited to announce its expansion! We are rebranding as the National Junior Table Tennis (NJTT) Team League and extending our reach across the country. This expansion welcomes young players from every state to join in the competition and excitement.

The NJTT will now feature two divisions, offering players of all skill levels the chance to compete and develop their talents. Get ready for even more opportunities to play and grow with us!

Division A: USATT Tournament Rating 2000+, Under 19

Division B: USATT Tournament Rating 850+, Under 17

2024 NJTT League

 The NJTT League players draft on August 27th.

Pre-Season Training starts on September 28th (Sat) 4:00-6:30pm.

Season starts on September 29th (Sun) 12:00-2:30pm.

Eligibility

The NJTT Team League consists of 2 divisions:

  1. Division A is for players under 19 years old with a USATT tournament rating of 2000+.
  2. Division B is for players under 17 years old with a USATT tournament rating 850+.
  • Teams/Players are encouraged to find their own sponsorship.
  • All sponsors and sponsorships agreement between teams/players are subjected to approval by NJTT.
  • Undrafted players for the U19 league will be eligible to be drafted for U17 team league (age permitted).
  • Players can play in both league if desired.

Playing Format

  • Number of Teams : 4-8
  • Players in each team : 4 + 1(sub)
  • Age: 10-19 (div 1), 10-17 (div 2).
  • Gender: min. 1 of different gender than the rest of the team
  • Match- 4 singles, 1 Doubles, Deduce in all game except golden game which is a race to 21 pts, 2 serves for each players.
  • Golden game starts at 0-0 to ensure a team is not penalized twice
  • 1 TO per match/ 1 TO golden game
  • In Singles, advantage pts shall be awarded to the player with much lower ratings in a mismatch i.e. player(s) with rating >200-399 than opponent will yield a 2pts head start to opponent and >400 a 4 pts head-start to opponents
  • USATT rating will not be impacted
  • Competition : 1 match first month, 2 matches and post-season same weekend the following month (to cater to out of state players)
  • Team training : Pre-season to train once only at 888 TTC, Burlingame.

Format: 

Each head-to-head match will be worth 21 points with each point contributing to overall team standings.

Dates and time

2024 NJTT Team League Draft will be on Tuesday, August 27th.

  • Pre-Season Training starts on September 28th (Sat) 4:00-6:30pm.
  • Season starts on September 29th (Sun) 12:00-2:30pm.

All players in this league will train at the same time but breakout into individual team for specific trainings as deemed appropriate by the team coach after warm-up.

Entry and Fees

Sign-up fee: $100 (Note: this non-refundable commitment fee will be charged at sign-up, this fee will count towards league administration fee if selected during draft. This fee will be refundable for undrafted players).

*Fall Season limited to 8 teams @ 4 players/team.

Player dues per season: $525 /player

Includes:

  • 1 training session (2.5 hours)
  • 2 training sessions (1 hour)
  • Match Play
  • Customized Jersey
  • Team & League Administrative Dues

How to Enter

Interested players who meet the requirements, as outlined on the NJTT Match Format page, will sign up on Omnipong under NATIONAL JUNIOR TT TEAM LEAGUE (NJTT) BY 888TTC PLAYERS DRAFT.

Players Draft will commence on August 27th through which the assigned coach for each team will select players from the pool in a Snake Format.

Players who are not selected during draft will be eligible for selection as free agent should backup players are required.

Each head-to-head match will be worth 21 points with each point contributing to overall team standings.
