ITTF-Americas Cup is coming back to San Francisco!

ITTF-Americas Cup 2026 Returns to the San Francisco Bay Area – America’s Top Table Tennis Stars Battle for World Cup Spots.

The most exclusive and elite event of our continent is coming back to the San Francisco Bay Area! The ITTF-Americas Cup San Francisco 2026 will take place January 28 – February 1 at the prestigious 888 Table Tennis Center in Burlingame, the official USA National Training Center and newly designated ITTF Americas High Performance Center.

Sixteen of the strongest men and sixteen of the strongest women from North, South, and Central America, as well as the Caribbean,  will compete in this high-stakes intercontinental showdown, with the ultimate prize being direct qualification to the ITTF Men’s & Women’s World Cup 2026 in Macao (March 30 – April 5, 2026).

Team USA enters with its strongest lineup, featuring four home-grown stars:

  • Kanak Jha – reigning Pan American Cup champion & first U.S. man to reach Olympic round of 16 (Paris 2024)
  • Lily Zhang – 4-time Olympian, 6-time U.S. National Champion, first American woman in World Cup semifinals
  • Amy Wang – 2024 Olympian, 2023 Pan Am Champion, 2-time U.S. National & U.S. Open Champion
  • Sid Naresh – rising junior star, Pan Am Games team bronze medalist, eyeing LA 2028 with brother Nandan.

Kanak Jha returns to defend his crown and lead the U.S. charge on home soil. Fresh off his historic 2024 victory that proved he is not only the best in the United States but the top player across the entire Americas.

Fans will also witness the next generation in action: the rising Naresh brothers, who are making confident strides toward the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games alongside Kanak Jha and the rest of America’s elite.

“This is a rare opportunity to see world-class table tennis right here in the Bay Area,” said President of 888 Table Tennis, Huifen Chan. “With the Pan American Cup returning to the ITTF Americas High Performance Center, we’re putting the region on the global sporting map – proving the Bay Area is not only the home of tech innovation, but also a premier destination for international high-performance sport.”
