The 2026 ITTF North American Championships made history this year as it was hosted for the first time at the National Table Tennis Training Center (888 Table Tennis). The event brought together top athletes from Canada and the United States, all competing for crucial world ranking points and the prestigious North American champion titles.
Canada demonstrated strong dominance in several categories, especially in the men’s events. Canadian standout Edward LY delivered an impressive run, capturing the Men’s Singles title after defeating USA’s Nandan Naresh in the final. Canada also claimed the Men’s Doubles title, as Laurent Jutras-Vigneault and Edward LY defeated USA’s Nikhil Kumar and Nandan Naresh.
Team USA, however, delivered an inspiring performance across multiple divisions. In a major highlight, USA’s Sally Moyland captured the Women’s Singles championship, defeating Jessica Reyes Lai in the final. The U.S. also celebrated a dominant victory in Women’s Doubles, where Jessica Reyes Lai and Amy Wang claimed the title.
