888 Table Tennis has reached a major milestone in its mission to promote and elevate the sport of table tennis. During the 2025 ITTF Pan American Cup, the International Table Tennis Federation of the Americas officially designated 888 Table Tennis as an ITTF High Performance Facility, a prestigious recognition that solidifies the club’s role as a premier training hub for top athletes.
Hosting the Pan Am Cup, one of the most prestigious table tennis tournaments in the Americas , was a testament to the tremendous efforts and unwavering dedication of 888 Table Tennis. From February 18 to 23, 2025, the state-of-the art US National Training Center welcomed the top 16 men and women players from across the continent, all competing for a coveted spot at the 2025 ITTF World Cup in Macao.
The official recognition was presented in front of a lively crowd of spectators and high-profile guests. Juan Vila, President of ITTF Americas , awarded the designation alongside Virginia Sung, CEO of USA Table Tennis Federation, and Paul Calle, Vice President of ITTF Americas. Among the distinguished attendees were industry leaders Roelof Botha (CEO of Sequoia Capital), Dave Mullen (Partner at Pinegrove Capital) and Madhu Namburi (Head of Technology Investment Banking at J.P. Morgan).
