FOR OUR YOUNG CAMPERS

Whether you’re already interested in art or music, or want to learn a fantastic new skill, come join for our Art & Music Camp @ 888 TTC!
We will be experimenting with different artistic mediums, instruments and types of music and of course, having fun! Every week we’ll focus on a new art form and new instrument or form of music, covering guitars to watercolors! By the end of each week, you’ll be able to take home a project using the skills you’ve learned. We want your creativity to shine and also to help refine the process!
Monday – Friday, 9:30am – 12pm

MEET OUR INSTRUCTORS
A young and experienced player, Max has been playing music for over nine years. He plays electric guitar, acoustic guitar, upright bass, drums, and piano. Last summer, Max used his talents to write, record, and produce his own album Just As Advertised under the artist name Max Z King. In high school, he took four years of jazz and 3 years of music production. This fall Max will be a third-year student at UC Berkeley majoring in physics and music. For the past three and a half years, he has played the electric upright bass for the Indygo Rhythm Section, a jazz combo he started with his friends from high school. The band has played over 100 shows around the peninsula (https://www.indygorhythm.com/).
Mikah is a passionate creator and lover of the arts, and works with traditional mediums such as watercolor, gouache, oils, and acrylic. She also has some experience in digital art, using programs such as ClipArt Studio and Krita. She studied for five years at the All-Art Studio located in Redwood City, and took an AP Drawing class in high school. Mikah has participated in local art shows, had work submitted in zines, and won 3rd place for an oil painting. She is influenced by the work of Caroline Ji, Henri Matisse, and Kira Buro; she is now a current student at the University of California, Santa Barbara majoring in Pre-Psychological and Brain Sciences. She aims to minor in Professional Writing with a science emphasis.
